Extrication collar

Extrication collar is a medical device used to support a person's neck. It is also applied by emergency personnel to those who have had traumatic head or neck injuries, and can be used to treat chronic medical conditions. They can also be used for extricating patients from car accidents who have suspected whiplash, in such cases the device is used to until X-rays determines any fracture. The device can be used with the combination of Kendrick Extrication Device or backboard. Additionally, X-ray, CT and MRI procedures can be performed with the device in place
